چکیده
A novel method based on spectral Green functions is presented for the simulation of driven open quantum dynamics that can be described by Lindblad master equation in Liouville density operator space. The extends Hilbert space formalism and provides simple algebraic connections between non-driven frequency domain. shows remarkable analogies to use field theory such as elementary excitation energies Dyson self-energy equation. To demonstrate its potential, we apply a coherently dissipative ensemble 2-level systems comprising single "active" subsystem interacting with $N$ "passive" subsystems -- generic model important applications optics dynamic nuclear polarization. dramatically reduces computational cost compared simulations solving full equation, thus making it possible study optimize many-body correlated states physically realistic limit an arbitrarily large $N$.

Entanglement in open quantum dynamics
Abstract. In the framework of the theory of open systems based on completely positive quantum dynamical semigroups, we give a description of the continuousvariable entanglement for a system consisting of two independent harmonic oscillators interacting with a general environment. Using Peres-Simon necessary and sufficient criterion for separability of two-mode Gaussian states, we describe the g...
متن کاملFluctuation theorems in driven open quantum systems
The characteristic function for the joint measurement of the changes of two commuting observables upon an external forcing of a quantum system is derived. In particular, the statistics of the internal energy, the exchanged heat and the work of a quantum system that weakly couples to its environment is determined in terms of the energy changes of the system and the environment due to the action ...
متن کاملEnvironment-governed dynamics in driven quantum systems.
We show that the dynamics of a driven quantum system weakly coupled to the environment can exhibit two distinct regimes. While the relaxation basis is usually determined by the system+drive Hamiltonian (system-governed dynamics), we find that under certain conditions it is determined by specific features of the environment, such as, the form of the coupling operator (environment-governed dynami...
متن کاملSemi-spectral Chebyshev method in Quantum Mechanics
Traditionally, finite differences and finite element methods have been by many regarded as the basic tools for obtaining numerical solutions in a variety of quantum mechanical problems emerging in atomic, nuclear and particle physics, astrophysics, quantum chemistry, etc. In recent years, however, an alternative technique based on the semi-spectral methods has focused considerable attention. Th...
